Wikipedia in 24 hour blackout over US anti-piracy legislation

WIKIPEDIA has begun a 24-hour blackout to protest against proposed US anti-piracy legislation it thinks will ruin the internet. The Stop Online Piracy Act and the Protect Intellectual Property Act (SOPA) is being considered in Congress are designed to crack down on sales of pirated US products overseas.
